Turning 60 is a great opportunity to celebrate and support CPC in The Hill

I am turing the big—way too big—SIX O.

Yes, that’s right I will be turning 60 on December 11th.

FB and other platforms give birthday-boys and -girls the opportunity to raise funds for a special charity—and there are so many good ones that need our charitableness. But these platforms take a percentage from your gift. I have a better idea. Some of my FB friends have asked how they can give to our church plant online. So, I have decided to open this up for my 60th and ask if you’d help me celebrate by supporting our church plant and ministry in The Hill (New Haven, CT). We have our own platform for donations, so 100% will go toward the church plant.

As most of you know, I was recently ordained in the Presbyterian Church in American (the PCA) on 9/16 and installed as the pastor of CPC in The Hill on 11/19—it has been a busy quarter! Our next step is to move into the Hill. Which will all depend on us raising our support. Please help make this happen.

We are currently at 59% of our annual goal (our fiscal year is Sep 1-Aug 30), leaving approximately 16K to go. Help us to get over the 75% mark by raising $6,200 between now and December 31st. Your gifts, support, and partnership will be greatly appreciated. I will post this or something like this almost every day until the end of 2017.
